Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: June 10, 2026
This policy describes what you may and may not do with Remake.House. It is part of our Terms of Service. We built Remake.House to redesign real spaces — rooms, building exteriors, and gardens — from photos you have the right to use. Keeping it that way protects you, other users, and the people whose homes appear in photos.
1. The basic rule
Upload only photos of real interior or exterior spaces that you own, manage, or have permission to redesign — your home, a client’s property with their consent, a listing you represent. If you wouldn’t be comfortable explaining to the property owner why you uploaded their photo, don’t upload it.
2. Prohibited content
Do not upload, or attempt to make the Service generate:
- People-focused images.Photos whose subject is a person rather than a space — and never images of identifiable people without their consent, or any image of a minor. The “add people” feature places fictional, AI-generated figures only.
- Sexual, violent, or hateful content of any kind, or content that harasses, threatens, or demeans any person or group.
- Unlawful content— anything that violates applicable law, including privacy and surveillance laws (e.g. photos taken inside someone’s home without permission).
- Infringing content— images you don’t have rights to, including other people’s professional photography, copyrighted artwork as the main subject, or content scraped from listings you don’t represent.
- Non-space content— the Service moderates uploads and rejects images that aren’t rooms, buildings, floor plans, or outdoor spaces. Repeated attempts to bypass moderation count as a violation.
3. Honest use of generated images
Outputs are AI visualizations. When you use them — especially commercially — you must not mislead:
- Real estate:when a render is used in a listing or marketing, you must clearly disclose that the image is a virtual redesign / virtual staging and not the current condition of the property. Many MLS systems and consumer-protection laws require this; misrepresenting a property’s condition to buyers or renters is prohibited.
- Do not present an Output as a photograph of work that was actually performed (e.g. a contractor portfolio of “completed” projects).
- Do not use Outputs to deceive, defraud, or defame anyone, or in connection with scams of any kind.
4. Platform integrity
- Do not circumvent or attempt to circumvent quotas, rate limits, moderation, watermarks on preview images, or billing.
- Do not scrape the Service, harvest content belonging to other users, or probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without written permission.
- Do not resell, sublicense, or provide automated third-party access to the Service. One subscription is for one account’s use; team usage requires a plan that permits it.
- Do not reverse engineer the Service except where the law expressly permits it.
5. Enforcement
Uploads are screened automatically, and violations are tracked. Depending on severity, we may reject content, issue a warning, suspend, or terminate your account — and in cases of unlawful content we may notify authorities where required. Credits consumed in connection with violations are not refunded (see the Refund Policy).
6. Reporting
If you believe content generated or used through Remake.House violates this policy or your rights (including copyright), report it via the contact page with enough detail for us to locate it. We review all reports.
